Creating Tomorrow – The Ottawa Hospital

We partnered with The Ottawa Hospital to produce Creating Tomorrow, a brand film that tells the story of a young mother facing breast cancer—capturing the emotional complexity, courage, and hope experienced by so many patients. Delivered alongside a suite of still photography, the campaign was created for use across broadcast, web, social, and print.

Guided by documentary filmmaking principles, we cast a real multi-generational family to portray the characters. Their genuine connection brought honesty and depth to every frame, ensuring the story felt lived, not performed.

With a small production footprint, we filmed inside the hospital with care and restraint, preserving the quiet intimacy the subject matter deserved.

Our Job: Creative development, casting, full production, photography, post-production, and versioning.
Produced for: broadcast, web, social, and print.

The Journey Ahead – National Arts Centre Strategic Plan (2023–2026)

We worked with the National Arts Centre to create a corporate documentary that brings their new strategic plan to life. Using cinematic visuals, real voices, and layered sound design, the film captures their commitment to equity, sustainability, and national collaboration. True to our “show, don’t tell” approach, the piece avoids traditional promotional styles in favour of authentic, human storytelling.

The videos were designed to move beyond traditional corporate content and offer stakeholders a deeper emotional connection to the NAC’s future direction.

Our Job: concept development, video production, versioning, finishing and photography
Produced for: web, social, and CSR (corporate social responsibility) communications.

The Siminovitch Prize in Partnership with the National Arts Centre of Canada

We were engaged to create a brand film for The Siminovitch Prize—an award that uniquely pairs recognition with mentorship. The whole concept that a Laureate (prize winner) selects a Protégé to mentor and receive the prize with them is something so Canadian. Chris Abraham was selected as a Protégé in 2001, then nominated as Laureate 12 years later in 2013. Full circle—which inspired our approach: a story that celebrates exceptional work while fostering the next generation of artists.

Our team led every aspect of production and finishing, including story development, interviews, original title design, and editing. The final film is a quiet, focused reflection on legacy and mentorship.

Our Job: research, story development, title design, production, editing, and finishing.
Produced for: brand, web & social.

In Their Own Words – Canadian Blood Services x BoldLip

We partnered with BoldLip to produce a full suite of content for Canadian Blood Services’ In Their Own Words campaign, including video, stills, and audio—captured over two focused days of production. Our small, intentional crew was key to creating a calm and trusting environment for participants—real recipients of blood and plasma donations—who shared deeply personal stories on camera. We led on-set production and finishing across all formats, balancing efficiency with care to ensure every story felt honest, human, and emotionally resonant.

Blind Hockey – Victory Journal

After connecting with Kelly Serbu—captain of Team Canada’s blind hockey team—John Kealey began a self-directed project to help raise awareness for the sport. What started as a conversation during an earlier assignment for Sportsnet evolved into a published photo story and short documentary featured in Victory Journal, and later recognized by the AI-AP.

Ice and Men, a written piece by Victory contributor Bud Schmeling, featured firsthand stories from players whose experiences speak to identity, resilience, and community in the face of vision loss.

Our Job: editorial photography, documentary video production, story development, and finishing.

Threat-Focused, Intelligence Led – Brand Anthem for GHT Global

GHT approached us to develop a brand anthem that would communicate the clarity, precision, and discipline at the core of their work in global risk mitigation. The goal: to distill their complex value proposition into a powerful story that resonates with public and private sector organizations that rely on trusted intelligence and strategic foresight.

We led the project from end to end—conducting pre-interviews to shape the narrative, retrieving and integrating archival material, designing motion elements, and managing all aspects of production, post, and finishing. The result is a sharp, focused film that reflects GHT’s foundational belief: See the world as it is, not how you wish it to be.

Our Job: Story development, design, archival footage retrieval, production, post, and finishing.
Produced for: strategic communications across digital platforms, client acquisition, and global positioning.

Roger’s Story – Legacy of Care

We created a heartfelt documentary for Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice, celebrating the legacy of NHL Hall of Famer Roger Neilson, an innovator in hockey and a compassionate advocate off the ice. He was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to everyone around him. Following his passing, the Ottawa Senators and CHEO helped establish the hospice in his name, a reflection of the values he embodied. Through emotional storytelling and cinematic imagery, the film captures how Roger’s legacy of care continues to support families today.

Our Job: Conception to Production (Documentary Short)

Vancouver Canucks – Gino Odjick Tribute

We handled production and finishing for this documentary short featuring artist Jay Odjick, created for the Vancouver Canucks First Nations Celebration game. The piece follows Jay as he designs a special edition jersey in honour of his cousin, Gino Odjick—a beloved former Canucks enforcer who passed away earlier in the year at age 52. Jay’s hope was to create a moment of visibility and inspiration for Indigenous youth: a jersey that doesn’t just celebrate culture, but helps young fans see themselves in the game.

The film is both a tribute and a call to action, raising awareness about the power of representation and the importance of preserving inclusive traditions in hockey.

Our Job: production and finishing (documentary short)
Produced for: Vancouver Canucks – web, social, and in-arena presentation.

At Home in a New City – Guidepost Montessori

We directed a day-in-the-life micro-documentary for Guidepost Montessori, capturing the experience of the Hall family as they settled into life in New York after emigrating from Germany. The film follows their authentic journey, showing what it means to find belonging, routine, and support through the Montessori community.

The piece was designed to reflect the real-life culture of the school, not through scripted testimonials, but through lived moments. The result is a warm, human portrait of transition, care, and the quiet strength of a well-supported learning environment.

Our Job: creative development, direction, field production, and finishing.
Produced for: Web, social, and brand communications.

Delivering Excellent Learning Experiences at Scale – D2L x Purdue University

D2L approached us with a clear objective: to tell a meaningful story about their partnership with Purdue University—using video to bring the relationship to life in a way that written content alone couldn’t. We produced a customer story that highlights how Purdue is delivering accessible, high-quality education at scale with D2L as a key partner. We handled production and finishing with a small, nimble crew—an intentional choice that allowed us to move quickly on campus and create a relaxed environment for those on camera. The result is a polished, human-centered film that brings warmth, clarity, and credibility to the story.

Our Job: Production and finishing—including field production, interviews, and post.
Produced for: web, social and marketing campaigns.
